 Designed by John Caldwell, the WESTPORT sectional is elegant in its simplicity and versatility. A limitless range of seating configurations can be made using varying combinations of the armless chair and corner/side units. (Note: the corner chair is also used as the left or right end unit. They are one and the same.) A large ottoman and square coffee table complete the collection. Recessed teak plinths give the unit a floating appearance, and the piece is hand-woven with the finest all-weather wicker around a powder coated aluminum frame, ensuring years of enjoyment. Stainless steel clips are provided to secure seating units together. Cushions made with Sunbrella or Outdura fabric are included. This remarkable material has many benefits, including a natural appearance, tear resistance, UV resistance, and weather resistance. Our wicker is also environmentally friendly and is made only from recyclable, non-toxic products. Woven furniture can be left outside all year round and is able to withstand temperatures from -20�C to +55�C. When very cold, the weave will become stiffer than normal and when very hot, the weave will become more elastic. However, it will always revert to its normal elasticity once the ambient temperature stabilizes. Fabric grades differ based on the complexity involved with the manufacturing of certain colors and weaves and does not reflect higher quality.
